Jill Nevard, a transplant from San Francisco, has always had a passion for good food. After spending 8 years in arguably the best US city for seasonal ingredients, Jill and her husband Michael moved to Oklahoma City. Before leaving San Francisco and a career in advertising sales, Jill graduated from Tante Marie's Cooking School, worked as a personal chef and was a cooking instructor. She spends her time in Oklahoma City teaching hands-on cooking classes at Chesapeake Energy and in private residences on weekends. CalGirl Kitchen also specializes in healthy gourmet prepared food deliveries when time allows.

Jill is in constant pursuit of getting her hands on local, seasonal produce. She believes that the quality of your ingredients dictates the quality of your food-and she doesn't cook any other way. When not in the kitchen, you can find Jill at a local farmers' market or traveling home to her favorite food city, San Francisco!
